Tell us what is going on
This goes straight to the office in Oostburg. It is not a call center and it is not a lead broker.
- You send it. Name, phone, address and a line about what the system is doing. The more you tell us, the less we have to guess.
- We call you back. During business hours a person from the office rings to work out what you need and when we can be there.
- You get a number before we start. On a repair we diagnose first and then quote. On a replacement we come out, look at the house and put the price in writing. Either way you approve it before any work happens.
Prefer to talk? Call (920) 564-2333, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm. The same number reaches us on nights, weekends and holidays.
Three ways to reach us
Phone, form, or the front door
Call (920) 564-2333
The main line, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm. Scheduling, quotes, parts questions, filter sizes, invoices — all of it comes through here.

After hours and weekends
The same number, (920) 564-2333, reaches our on-call technician at night, at weekends and on holidays. A no-heat call in a cold snap goes to the front of the queue, so do not sit on it until Monday.

Walk in during business hours. People do, usually holding a filter and asking what size it is, which is a perfectly good reason to stop by.

Four things that make the call go faster
None of this is required. It just means we arrive knowing what we are walking into.
Have the make and model handy
It is on a sticker inside the furnace door or on the side of the outdoor unit. A photo of it on your phone saves a phone call and sometimes saves a trip for a part.
Tell us roughly how old it is
Even a rough answer changes the conversation. A nine-year-old furnace and a twenty-two-year-old furnace with the same symptom are two different problems.
Describe the symptom, not the diagnosis
What it is doing, what it sounds like, and when it started. You do not need the right words for it. Runs for four minutes and shuts off is more useful to us than short cycling.
Check three things first if there is no heat
Thermostat calling for heat with good batteries, the furnace switch on the unit not flipped off, and a filter that is not completely blocked. Those three account for a fair number of the calls we take, and you can check them in a minute.
If you smell gas, do not call us first. Leave the house and call the gas utility or 911 from outside.

What are Advanced Comfort Systems' hours?
The office is open Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm, at 1130 Michigan Ave in Oostburg, Wisconsin. Call (920) 564-2333 during those hours for scheduling, quotes and anything else.
Is there an after-hours emergency number?
Yes, and it is the same number. (920) 564-2333 reaches our on-call technician on nights, weekends and holidays. Use it for no heat in a cold snap, no cooling in a heatwave, a burning smell, or water coming off a system.
What is the fastest way to get help with no heat?
Call. (920) 564-2333 gets you to a person who can look at the schedule while you are on the line, and the same number reaches our on-call technician outside business hours. The form is fine for quotes and maintenance, but in a Wisconsin cold snap a phone call is faster than anything you can type.
Where is Advanced Comfort Systems located?
1130 Michigan Ave, Oostburg, WI 53070. It is a real shop with a counter, not a mailbox, and you are welcome to walk in during business hours.
Do you charge for a quote on a new system?
No. Quoting a replacement system is free, and it involves coming out and looking at the house rather than reading you a number over the phone. Diagnosing a fault on an existing system is a service call and does carry a charge, which we will tell you when you book.
Do you serve my town?
We cover Sheboygan County and the lakeshore south into Ozaukee County — Sheboygan, Kohler, Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls, Howards Grove, Oostburg, Cedar Grove, Belgium, Elkhart Lake, Port Washington and Grafton among them. The full list is here. If your town is not on it, call and ask rather than assuming.
Will you work on a system you did not install?
Yes. We install Carrier and Mitsubishi, but we service every major brand, and most of the equipment we work on was put in by somebody else.
Do you do plumbing or water heaters?
No. We are heating, cooling, ventilation and indoor air quality only. Boilers and hydronic or radiant heat are ours, because hot-water heating is a heating system rather than plumbing, but water heaters, softeners and drains are not. Ask and we will give you a name.
No heat right now?
Do not wait to see whether it sorts itself out. In a cold snap every shop in the county is triaging at once, and the people who call early get seen first.
