About Our City

The Village of Oostburg is nestled in between I-43 and Highway 32 in Southeastern Sheboygan County. Its stunning location on Lake Michigan allows it to be a destination getaway for many—you can even stay in a cabin in the woods neighboring the lake. Go for a hike, get out on the water, or get a bite to eat Judi’s, a popular local restaurant. When the seasons change, get a true hometown feel with Oostburg’s annual Parade of Lights, where the town comes together to celebrate the upcoming holidays. It’s a village residents gladly call home and where new residents will be glad to have settled in.

Directions to Oostburg

Coming to our location from Belgium? Head east on County Road D/Main Street toward Chestnut Street for 1.1 miles. Turn left to merge onto I-43 North/WI-32 North toward Sheboygan and continue for 8.6 miles before taking Exit 116 for Foster Road toward Oostburg-Sheboygan County AA. Turn left onto Foster Road, continue onto County Road AA for 1.4 miles, and then continue onto Center Avenue. Take a left onto South 11th Street and then a right onto Michigan Avenue. We are on the right side.

If you are leaving from Batavia, head east on School Drive toward WI-28 West, turn left onto WI-28 East, and then right onto South County Road A for 8.4 miles. Turn left onto County Road GW for half a mile, right at the first cross street onto County Road A South for 4.1 miles, and then right onto South 14th Street. Take a final left onto Michigan Avenue and you will see us on the left side.

When leaving from Plymouth, head east on East Main Street toward Division Street, turn right at the second cross street onto North Street, continue for 1.6 miles, and then turn right onto WI-57 South for 5 miles. Take a left onto County Road V/East First Street for 6 miles, turn right onto WI-32 South for 3.6 miles, and then take a left onto County Road A South for 1.1 miles. When you get to the third cross street, turn right onto South 14th Street, and then take a final left onto Michigan Avenue. You will see us on the left side.

If you are coming to see us from Sheboygan, head south on North Ninth Street, turn right onto Pennsylvania Avenue, and then right onto Indiana Avenue for 1.1 miles. When you arrive at South Taylor Drive, take a left and continue for 1.7 miles before turning right onto WI-28 West to merge onto I-43 South toward Cedar Grove/Belgium/Milwaukee. Continue on I-43 for 6.4 miles, take Exit 116 for Sheboygan County AA toward Foster Road/Oostburg. Turn right onto County Road AA for 1.4 miles, continue onto Center Avenue, take a left onto South 11th, and then take a final right onto Michigan Avenue. You will arrive at our location on the right side.
